Prémios e Recomendações

2020
Falstaff, Ulrich Sautter, Áustria | 98/100 PTS, “A stunningly complex bouquet, the finest tertiary aromas, patisserie, candied citrus, mahogany, molasses, a hint of rose. In the beginning soft and supple, creamy and plump, but also subtle, all components are extremely tightly interwoven, yet the wine does not seem the least bit tired, still has stuffing, power and vigour, still seems downright youthful in the structure. Delicate sweetness and a fresh and juicy finish.”

2019
Vinum Wine Magazine, Suiça | 18,5/20 PTS, “Amber with coppery reflections. Quite open nose, salt and caramel, black treacle, pumpernickel, rumtop fruits, ripe walnuts, plum jam and cinnamon. Strong on the palate, malty-grainy, still fresh acidity (orange jam), silky and playful to the end, caramel and a hint of nutmeg in the finish. A daring but delicious combination with Cassata Siciliana.”

2018
Wine Spectator, James Molesworth, EUA | 95/100 PTS, “Alluring, with a warm date and gently mulled fig and peach core gliding through, while light alder, bitter almond and candied ginger notes add sparkle and texture along the edges. Frankly sweet through the finish but with the energy for balance.”
Maravilhoso.”

2017
Alvará Real de fornecedor de Vinho do Porto a Sua Majestade a Rainha Isabel II de Inglaterra e à Casa Real.

2016
Wine & Spirits, Joshua Greene, EUA | 96/100 PTS, “This wine has reached Tawny nirvana, all of its elements in harmony, its age a ghost of red fruit, its alcohol transformed into texture. It doesn’t suffer from oxidation, though it buzzes with richness, the flavors lasting on silken orange and fresh almond. Rather than the heat of Douro schist in August, it has the cool stoniness of the cellar where it evolved. Saturated with pleasure.
Jancis Robinson
, Richard Hemming, Reino Unido | 18,5/20 PTS, “Orangey tawny. Very sweet and round. Not at all rancio. Not too reduced and concentrated. Great stuff. Dried-apricot notes. All in the right balance.”

2015
Robert Parker – Wine Advocate, Mark Squires, EUA | 95/100 PTS, “Big, weighty and mouth filling, this is an aromatic Tawny that finishes with acidity and tension. Gripping on the finish, its flavors become more interesting as long as it sits in the glass (or on your palate). It is still a fine experience and my favorite.”
