Um vinho rico e opulento com boa estrutura tânica. Sabores a ameixas negras, doce de amora, framboesa e especiarias na boca. Fim de boca infindável a chocolate negro amargo.

Prémios e Recomendações
2012
Richard Mayson, Reino Unido | 18/20 PTS, “Another very deep, dark wine, just starting to turn on the rim; lovely, expressive floral aromas, mint, esteva (gum cistus) too; open, opulent plummy with a touch of clove. Plump with ripe broad tannins right the way through to the finish. Very impressive.”

2008
Wine Enthusiast
, Roger Voss, EUA | 91/100 PTS, “A dry, structured wine, firm and with tannic, concentrated fruit. Spirit and acidity are both evident, but with its dark, brooding style this is an impressive return to form by Croft.”

2007
Wine & Spirits Magazine, EUA | 92/100 PTS, “This 2004 is a thoroughly modern wine, the character of a mixed old-vine planting revealed in bright blueberry and violet florals as the tannins slowly subside with air. There’s also a superripe edge of peach or custard apple, and sweet Christmas pudding flavors adding complexity to the finish. It’s concentrated, with enough freshness to sustain it for ten to fifteen years.”
Wine Spectator
, James Suckling, EUA | 88/100 PTS, “A balanced, fruity young vintage Port, with licorice, mineral and blackberry character. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a caressing finish. Not big, but nicely done. Best after 2011. 3,500 cases made.”
